While most play golf,
Or vacation in Tahiti.
This guy saves lives-
Resecting tumors that are meaty.

He is leaving the Rainbow
With his wonderful wife.
Ironically they both prefer
Brains under the knife.

Please, enjoy this poem
I wrote for you
The number of people who get these
Aren’t many- but few.

You saved my life,
That you did do.
Not just physically,
But, MENTALLY, too!

You let me finish
My season of volleyball.
Made me look somewhat ‘normal’
Whilst roaming the hall.

It may sound vain
Or silly, I’m told
But having hair is important
To a thirteen year-old.

I may just follow you
Wherever you go-
Whether it be Boston
Or Burkina Faso.

Like: the lobes of my brain
Not just one time but twice.
To have documentation:
A picture would be nice. 

She was there since
I was thirteen
Shoved a tube through my head
Not [just] to be mean

She’s got rockstar hair
That’s very memorable
Very spunky and curly
Far away from dull.

You gave me a gift
Through neurosurgery
No more worries of seizures
Finally get to be me.

You sure left your mark
Well, more like a hole.
An infinite abyss
Blacker than coal.

That last line is not
Grammatically correct.
Please, look past it
For, now, the poem is wrecked.

I enjoyed stopping by
When I was “in house’.
Always dressed to the nines
In a skirt and a blouse.
